Kathie, a big thank you for your part in making our
holiday a fantastic success - we all had a
fantastic time! I am trying to convince my wider
family to hire 2-3 houses in the bay for our
combined family holiday!
The place easily sleeps ten and it suits all ages. The house is really comfortable and we had lots of fun playing around in the dingy
and the kayaks, while swimming or fishing. The views are magnificent and that we definitely will be back soon to enjoy the warm
surroundings! Thanks a lot!

We just got back from our weekend at Aratawa Heights and we were really pleased with the accommodation. It had a great family
bach atmosphere with loads of fire wood and plenty of sleeping options. We were really happy with the house and the price. Thanks
very much for a great last minute job! Thanks very much and we look forward to dealing with you in the future.
-Rhys and Jen Horncastle, 5th-7th Sept 2008
Thanks for letting us stay in this wonderful place and for your hospitality for having the fire roaring and the spa on.
-Tyler Henderson, 22 to 24 July 2011

Wow another great holiday has been had by the Wylie family in the Sounds.  We loved our time at Aratawa Heights and the real
"Sounds Experience" we had.  The house was ideal for us, very comfortable and very well equipped.  The view was to die for and the
walk upworth every step!!!  We really appreciated our phone call on arrival from the owners and are very grateful to them for allowing
us to enjoy their special place.
-Joyce Wylie, 23rd- 30th December 2010

We recently travelled over from Oz and spent 10 days at Aratawa Heights in the Bay of Many Coves.  I would have to say it is one of
the best holidays we have ever had.  The views from the house out over the bays were amazing.  From the deck we saw dolphins
swimming around the bay.  There was loads to do, we had the use of a small boat that came with the house which enabled us to get
out on the water, have a look around and have a fish.  While we were not able to keep the blue cod we caught  we did catch a variety
of fish and saw seals, dolphins and seabirds up close.  The bush walking (as we aussies call it)  around Marlborough Sounds had the
most incredible views.  The house was extremely well equipped and the boatshed had all the gear you needed to get out on the
water.  Kathie met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome.  We were even able to order a king salmon from the local fish
farm which Kathie delivered to the house.  That fish was the icing on the cake of a wonderful relaxing holiday!!  We will certainly be
back over!
-Kirsty Keable, 24th September- 4th October 2010

Kathie thank to so much for a lovely stay. We would love to book with you again. And we have already started recommending your
website to friends.
-Hamish Wilson, 5th- 8th April 2010

We have stayed in the Sounds a few times now, but Aratawa Heights was the BEST so far.  The house is obviously loved and cared
for and there is definitely an artist in the family with some great sea-themed works of art on the walls!  A great touch!  Fantastic
sheltered clear, clean bay, perfect for spending the day at the beach swimming, wharf jumping, kayaking, or hunting for crabs and
limpets.  We had fun with the ultra friendly wekas visiting and stealing our shoes!  And the bush walks were superb with a stunning
one hour walk to the Bay of Many Coves where we could get ice blocks!  The owners have a FANTASTIC set up here.  The huge
deck got all day sun and the views were simply spectacular.  A perfect set up for our two families.  We adored our stay and I am sure
we will be back again.  Thank you Kathie and the owners of Aratawa Heights.  You really have something special here.
Andrea McCarty and family, 23rd- 30th January 2010

We cannot thank you enough for the support that Kathie and Alan gave over recent weeks.  The setting is indeed very special – one
to warm the soul and inspire a perspective of life.  You must feel very privileged to be there.  The place suited our needs perfectly,
and indeed, we were appreciative of the time, beauty and silence of the Sounds.  Thank you for all your efforts to open it up to us.
