1hrs drive from Blenheim, turning off at Renwick. The last 8km are a gravel road.

Located on a high country merino sheep station of 2000ha
Mountain and river views with complete peace and privacy
Trek the hills or do a 4x4 bike ride to the tops. Over 20km of walking tracks, including up to Mt Stronvar at  1350m
Resident Falcons live nearby in the rock bluffs
Red deer are plentiful and can often be seen or heard from the cottage. As can other wild life on the walking tracks.
The Waihopai river is great for swimming, with crystal clear waters. Also great picnic spots
Guided walking, fishing or hunting trips can be organised, $300 a day
Bring you own horse for guided treks as well, or mountain bikes at $300 a day.
Resident possum likes to watch over at night time.
Winter time, the surrounding mountains and hills can snow capped for gorgeous views.
Veranda outside, sit and watch for the wildlife to emerge from the bush at dusk.
Surrounded by native birds, rare plants and a waterfall creek.
Outdoor hot shower surrounded by rock pools and moss clad rocks

Gas BBQ cooking and fridge. Freezer space and laundry available on request
2 course meals are available by prior arrangement. Also picnic lunches.
