We had a fantastic time at Erie Bay, the weather was great. It is was so secure for Bleau, (Dog) he was able to walk the property without us having to worry about him. We loved the fact that it got sun from first light until well into the evening. Every opportunity you had with every angle you were spell bound by the beauty of the views. The wee quirks that went with the place were fun, we had a perfect holiday and would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing, private and fun holiday. We had so much fun, the lights had us in fits of laughter, trying to work out what needed to go on first. We never had any problems with the stove at all or the water. Loved watching the Ferries go past at night, their lights are beautiful. Robert was really pleased to have the mooring, it was hassle free with high and low tides. The wee beach was safe for all of use to swim and the water was so clear. Hard to put in words the magic of Erie Bay.

This was a great bach and suited our family of four very well. Waikawa Bay run was 20 mins comfortably. Private jetty and mooring were well sheltered for our 6m runabout - with canoe on site being an excellent tender craft. The house was well equipped and comfortable with good gas fridge/freezer, oven (which worked a treat) and cook top. Log burner was very effective at heating home (and water) and the solar power easily met all our lighting needs. Outdoor bath was a highlight too! Walking options here are a bit limited but it was a good 45 minute grunt up a track to the Hill Top. Excellent base for fishing with lots of options within a short run, including Cook Strait if chasing cod. Excellent service and communications by Kathie at Kulak. We recommend highly. -Richard, Helen, Matthew & Sarah Little - Easter 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year break at the Erie Bay Bach. The house is in an ideal location to get away from it all. The property easily housed our family, and with amazing views from the balcony and deck, we were able to sit back and relax and watch the boat traffic in the channel. We also made the most of the walks in the area, walking around the rocks when the tide was out, as well as venturing high into the hills where you could walk for miles. The fishing was successful off the jetty, as well as collecting mussels from the rocks. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking to get away for a reasonable break, as the water taxi ride is close to an hour from Picton. A big thanks to Kathie and Alan for their services, their communication really sealed this holiday -Jenn and Jeff McEwan - 23rd December 2009- 4th January 2010
