We knew the Bach was of older vintage and were unsure of exactly what to expect.
When we arrived we found the setting absolutely stunning. The Bach is nestled into
the bush canopy and is snug, relaxing and therapeutic. The kitchen is well
appointed. Waking up to native bird song and stepping out on the deck into the
early morning sunlight to look out over the mirror reflection of Lochmara Bay is a
great way to start the day. Thanks to owner Ruth for making the Bach available
and to Kathie and Alan for the service provided in booking it and getting us there
and back.

Had a great time at Lochmara Homestead. We used the sauna a couple of times while staying, it was great after a long day and
wonderful when the weather wasn’t too flash. We enjoyed it, -took a couple to go’s to work it out though!

| Queen Charlotte Track access This property has easy access to the Q.C track. Walking time from the property is still to be determined, though it is achievable It has access for walk or bike options- though bikes are restricted to off peak season only (1st March- 30th Nov) A $12 pass is now required for anyone hiking or biking the whole track or sections of the track, between Camp Bay and Anakiwa.
